Our schools should be fully integrated members of the community. this requires four things:
Information on decision making needs to be timely and easily accessible to all.
Communication between the district and the community is paramount .
When we study complex networks of relationships in nature we see that almost all of them are cooperative partnerships. This needs to be our model for how the school district fits into the broader community including the City of Hamilton, Rocky Mountain Labs, Marcus Daly, civic organizations and non governmental organizations.
Provide resources required for every individual to thrive. Address issues of bullying, trauma, and inclusion.
